Wrap it like it's hot: FungiSmart's first fans<\/h2>\n

When we introduced FungiSmart, it was a bit of a switch for some. A fungicide... that is itself a fungus? Yep. Pythium Oligandrum, microbiologically a wonder drug. It eats fungi until the nutrient soil is consumed after which it becomes inactive. We do our best to inform everyone about it and within no time, more and more people knew how to embrace the concept. Thanks in part to FungiSmart magazine, our\u00a0Facebook groups for professionals<\/a>\u00a0and telephone contact. Yep you read that right, we are available for all your questions. FungiSmart in practice<\/h2>\n

We see many pedicures and professionals quickly becoming proficient in working with the FungiSmart wraps, footbaths and supporting products such as the oil and footwear powder. The combination approach works, especially if there is good communication with the customer.<\/p>\n

\u2714\ufe0f\u00a0<\/strong>Starting a treatment without measuring is a waste of your time. The\u00a0FungiCheck<\/a>\u00a0really turns out to be a game-changer in this: visually, a nail sometimes still appears affected, while the fungus has long been defeated<\/p>\n

  1. Do you always have to do three wraps?<\/strong>
    \nNot always. Three is the guideline, but evaluation is key. Do you see strong improvement after two? Then you can switch to maintenance in consultation with the professional.<\/li>\n
  2. What if the customer works a lot with water or chemicals?<\/strong>
    \nThis affects the survival of Pythium Oligandrum. In such a case, a longer post-treatment is smart.<\/li>\n
  3. How do I know if it works?<\/strong>
    \nHave an interim FungiCheck done. That way you'll know if you still need to move on or can finish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
